Nigo Steps Down As Bape President

I know this isn't exactly a sneaker post or update; but for those who are aware of the sneaker culture, you realize how big of a deal this is. Bape has been one of the most popular and one of the most "faked" shoes of all time. Nigo is reportedly stepping down as president and brand director of A Bathing Ape. The brand was founded in 1993, and has been one of the more expensive and exclusive brands since. Nigo claims he will still remain the brand's designer. He will also continue his partnership with Pharrel as co-owner and head designer of Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream. While his reason for stepping down is not clear as of yet, I'm sure something will develop in the coming future...
